What are the Uses of Fiberglass?

Fiberglass is a polymer that has been used since the 1960’s. Since that time, it has gone from being the primary insulation used for homes and buildings, to being used in the construction of boats, boats, aircraft and other transportation vehicles. • Bathroom Floors – Fiberglass bathtubs, sinks and countertops are usually made from a polyester resin. They are lightweight and offer superior strength. They are resistant to scratches and stains and come with a lifetime warranty.

• Kitchen Appliances – Fiberglass kitchen appliances are a common sight in kitchens. They include cook tops, ovens, microwave ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators. These kitchen appliances are highly durable and come in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes.

• Commercial Buildings – Fiberglass can be used to construct commercial buildings. These include high rise buildings, warehouses, factories, storage facilities, office buildings, etc. They are durable and offer excellent insulation properties. A more brief-er approach to the list would be to consider them in a list. Fiberglass is a natural material that is derived from the wood pulp of trees. Fiberglass is generally considered to be an inert material, meaning that it doesn't react with most materials and substances. However, there are some things that you should avoid doing when you are using it. Avoid breathing the dust produced during manufacturing, handling, and installation. In addition, keep children away from fiberglass when installing it. They may put their hands into the container and get their fingers stuck. Also, wear safety glasses or goggles when handling fiberglass. Fiberglass dust has a high content of silica and can irritate your eyes and throat.
